Running of the Elk 5K

Date/Time: Saturday September 8, 2012, 5k Race @ 8:00 AM

Kids fun run @ 8:45 am Pancake Breakfast starts at 9 AM @ Ponca Bible Camp

Location: Ponca Arkansas, register across the road from the Lost Valley Store

Registration: Race day registration @ 7 - 7:45 AM 5K Registration Form,

15 Mile Registration Form

Entries After Aug. 15, 2012 are $25 & will receive shirts if available.

Kids fun run $5 - no shirt included, but participation medals are given.

Available shirts for purchase race day until supplies run out.

Checks should be made out to the Arkansas Children's Hospital

Packet Pickup: Race day from 7 - 7:45 AM @ registration area.

Awards: Handmade Pottery Medals for all participants, even kids dash.

Overall winner will receive a plaque.

Valley Run Just Added -- More details later. Starting at the same time as the

5K, the Valley Run will be an out and back race the length of Boxley Valley

and it will be just longer than a half maraton. Full details and a registration

form will be available the last week of May. Registration fee will be $40.

Events this year will include a 0.5 mile Kids’ Fun Run, a 5K run/walk.and a

15 mile run. Participants are invited to a pancake breakfast after the race

(show your bib). Breakfast is $5 for non-participants.

The event is conducted by the Upper Buffalo River Association. All proceeds

from this event will benefit the Arkansas Children's Hospital. We would like to
